Execs Council to Present National Strategy for Promoting Masonry
Executive Directors from sixteen local mason contractor groups working in conjunction with the National Mason Contractors Association of America will present a national campaign for promoting masonry systems. The ground breaking campaign will be introduced at the MCAA Annual Meeting held at the Masonry Showcase this March in Las Vegas.
Dubbed the "Execs Council", the sixteen association executive directors have met for the past eight months to build a cohesive national contractors' presence. During strategy sessions the Execs identified the one dominant initiative was to gain a contractor dominated presence in masonry promotion and to promote masonry systems. "Millions of dollars are spent each year promoting brick sales, block sales and stone sales but yet a void exists with customer confidence in designing masonry systems" said MCAA Executive Director, Michael Adelizzi. "The logical group to promote systems is the mason contractor and our association."
The campaign which will be presented by the Execs will consist of an aggressive advertising campaign along with a dedicated website and a tremendous amount of technical information on designing masonry systems.
