January Push for Members
The strength and effectiveness of any trade association comes from the number of members that it represents. The MCAA is no different. The larger the base of contractor members equates to the size of its budget and the number of members available to act on the industry's behalf.
The MCAA will make a concerted effort beginning in January to bring in large numbers of new members. You will notice that the majority of the January issue of Masonry Magazine will be devoted to what the association is doing on behalf of the industry and why non-members should join with you to help the association's efforts to build a stronger industry. Over 15,000 non-members will receive the magazine with a special invitation to join the MCAA. In addition, staff members have attended various chapter meetings to educate non-members about the benefits of the association and how they can help us through membership.
Lastly, you will be receiving a special membership brochure and application in hopes that you will help us recruit a non-member into the association. It's no secret that existing members have a much easier time in recruiting new members. We hope that you will ask a fellow contractor or supplier to support you by joining the MCAA. Details will be mailed out after the first of the year.
