OSHA Announces Hispanic Outreach Module of Compliance Assistance
On January 10, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) launched a new Hispanic Outreach Module of Compliance Assistance to assist employers with a Spanish-speaking workforce to learn more about workplace rights and responsibilities, identify Spanish-language outreach and understand the training resources available from OSHA as well as other federal agencies and non-profit organizations. This helpful guide provides a listing of OSHA's Hispanic/English-as-a-second-language coordinators and users will learn how to work cooperatively with OSHA.
The Compliance Assistance Quick Start is available on OSHA's Compliance Assistance webpage: http://www.osha.gov/dcsp/compliance_assistance/index.html. MCAA hopes that this outreach resource will assist you in its safety and health training activities.
