North Carolina SkillsUSA contest

Senior Dallas Caudle, a student of Todd Hartsell at Central Cabarrus High School in Concord, has repeated as North Carolina High School Masonry Champion and will return to Kansas City for the national contest this month. Representing North Carolina, Caudle finished the national contest with a Silver Medal in 2004.

Rounding out the top five in the April 12th N.C. SkillsUSA contest at the Greensboro Coliseum were Josh Kimrey and Mason Widenhouse of Mount Pleasant High School, Devin Lowder of West Stanly High School and Kevin Greene, also of Central Cabarrus High School.

North Carolina Mason Contractors Association (NCMCA) members joined with the Carolinas Concrete Masonry Association, Brick SouthEast and The N.C. Masonry Instructors Association to provide materials, equipment, volunteers and judges for the contest.
