MCAA Announces Live Webinar Series

Earn Certification credit while improving profitability and productivity

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is proud to announce the MCAA Live Webinar Series featuring the Masonry Wall Bracing Seminar, Understanding Masonry Codes and Standards, and the Masonry Estimating Seminar.

Webinars allow attendees to earn Masonry Certification credits from the comfort of their home or office while attending the best masonry seminars that will improve productivity and profitability. Attendees will be able to ask questions and have access to handouts just as they would in a classroom setting.

The first course offered will be the Masonry Wall Bracing Seminar on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00 AM central time. The Masonry Wall Bracing Seminar has been developed to provide contractors with the know-how to confidently design and construct bracing for a variety of common masonry structures. This course is worth four credits in the Safety discipline.

Understanding Masonry Codes and Standards will be held the following Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10:00 AM central time. This updated seminar will guide attendees step-by-step through the recently updated masonry specification provisions included in the consensus masonry standards. Attendees will earn four credits in the Codes and Standards discipline.

The new and improved Masonry Estimating Seminar will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 9:00 AM central time. This seminar will teach the basics of masonry estimating and is worth six credits in the Bidding Practices discipline.
