The MCAA is looking to try to change the results in the Senate and is asking members and the people within their firms to write letters to their Senators requesting a $5 million dollar exemption and a top tax rate of 35%. Download a sample letter that can be sent to your state's Senate leaders that requests they consider these new levels.

Estate Tax Movement
The House has passed estate tax reform which would make the estate tax permanent and would impose a $3.5 million exemption and the top tax rate would be 45%.
