The BrickStainable Design Competition seeks integrative design solutions that promote the use of clay brick to achieve sustainability goals. The competition explores the potential of brick construction in the creation of energy efficient building and challenges designers to maximize the physical characteristics of brick. The competition was created by Potomac Valley Brick in 2009.
Final preparations are underway to launch the 2nd Annual BrickStainable Design competition, which is held in pursuit of design solutions that exploit the unique properties of brick masonry construction to create sustainable building concepts.
Once again, the competition has two categories, Integrated Building Design and Technical Design with cash prizes totaling nearly $30,000! Visit www.BrickStainable.com and follow @pvbrick on Twitter for competition dates and details and watch your email for more information!
